EXPERIENCED ATTORNEY
AND TAX SPECIALIST
Sebastian A. Weiss, Esq., L.L.M. (Taxation), has been practicing law in New York State since 2004.
Mr. Weiss is admitted to practice in U.S. Tax Court and authorized to prepare U.S. tax returns and to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
He is chairperson of the Personal Income Tax Committee of the New York City Bar Association, as well as Treasurer of the French American Bar Association.
A native speaker of French, his practice includes representing French speaking individuals as well as U.S. subsidiaries of French companies.
Mr. Weiss advises individuals and businesses that require ongoing assistance with legal and tax matters, including:

WORK EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND
Mr. Weiss has been in private practice throughout his professional legal career. He worked as an associate at law firms in Manhattan for five years prior to establishing a solo practice in 2010.
During law school, Mr. Weiss clerked for a New York State Supreme Court judge, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) legal department, and the Colgate-Palmolive Corporation trademark department.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Weiss was an award-winning financial news journalist at American City Business Journals. His in-depth reporting on groundbreaking legislation and legal issues, including the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the 1999 Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, ultimately led to a career in the law.
